Or do they say, “He1 has fabricated this ˹Quran˺!”? Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Produce ten fabricated sûrahs like it and seek help from whoever you can—other than Allah—if what you say is true!”

أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بعشر سور مثله مفتريات " أم " بمعنى بل ، وقد تقدم في " يونس " أي قد أزحت علتهم وإشكالهم في نبوتك بهذا القرآن ، وحججتهم به ; فإن قالوا : افتريته - أي اختلقته - فليأتوا بمثله مفترى بزعمهم .وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله أي من الكهنة والأعوان .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
