قوله تعالى : قالوا لئن أكله الذئب ونحن عصبة أي جماعة نرى الذئب ثم لا نرده [ ص: 125 ] عنه .إنا إذا لخاسرون أي في حفظنا أغنامنا ; أي إذا كنا لا نقدر على دفع الذئب عن أخينا فنحن أعجز أن ندفعه عن أغنامنا . وقيل : " لخاسرون " لجاهلون بحقه . وقيل : لعاجزون .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
