˹Finally,˺ the surviving ex-prisoner remembered ˹Joseph˺ after a long time and said, “I will tell you its interpretation, so send me forth ˹to Joseph˺.”

{ وَقَالَ الَّذِي نَجَا مِنْهُمَا } أي: من الفتيين، وهو: الذي رأى أنه يعصر خمرا، وهو الذي أوصاه يوسف أن يذكره عند ربه { وَادَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ } أي: وتذكر يوسف، وما جرى له في تعبيره لرؤياهما، وما وصاه به، وعلم أنه كفيل بتعبير هذه الرؤيا بعد مدة من السنين فقال:{ أَنَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَأْوِيلِهِ فَأَرْسِلُونِ } إلى يوسف لأسأله عنها.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
