those whose souls the angels take while they are virtuous, saying ˹to them˺, “Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise for what you used to do.”

ثم وصف - سبحانه - ما أعده لهم من نعيم فقال : ( جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأنهار ) .والعدن : الإِقامة الدائمة : يقال : عدن فلان ببلد كذا ، إذا توطن فيه وأقام دون أن يبرحه أى : لهؤلاء المتقين : جنات دائمة باقية ، يدخلونها بسرور وحبور ، تجرى من تحتها بساتينها وأشجارها الأنهار .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
