˹The angels announced,˺ “O Zachariah! Indeed, We give you the good news of ˹the birth of˺ a son, whose name will be John—a name We have not given to anyone before.”

{موژدەی یەحیا بە زەكەریا پێغەمبەر - صلی الله علیه وسلم – درا}
[ يَا زَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى ] خوای گهوره وهڵامی دایهوه ئهی زهكهریا - صلى الله عليه وسلم - ئێمه موژدهت پێ دهدهین به مناڵێك كه ناوی لێ ئهنێین یهحیا [ لَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا (٧) ] پێش ئهم هیچ كهسێكی ترمان ناو نهناوه به یهحیا، یان هاوشێوهی نهبووه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
