ولين مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا ويلنا انا كنا ظالمين ٤٦
وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌۭ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَـٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِينَ ٤٦
وَلَئِن
مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ
نَفۡحَةٞ
مِّنۡ
عَذَابِ
رَبِّكَ
لَيَقُولُنَّ
يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ
إِنَّا
كُنَّا
ظَٰلِمِينَ
٤٦
If they were touched by even a breath of your Lord’s torment, they would certainly cry, “Woe to us! We have really been wrongdoers.”

لو أصاب الكفارَ نصيب من عذاب الله لعلموا عاقبة تكذيبهم، وقابلوا ذلك بالدعاء على أنفسهم بالهلاك; بسبب ظلمهم لأنفسهم بعبادتهم غير الله.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
