˹Remember˺ when he questioned his father and his people, “What are these statues to which you are so devoted?”

You are reading a tafsir for the group of verses 21:52 to 21:53
آیت 52 اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِیْہِ وَقَوْمِہٖ مَا ہٰذِہِ التَّمَاثِیْلُ الَّتِیْٓ اَنْتُمْ لَہَا عٰکِفُوْنَ ”ذرا ان پتھر کی خود تراشیدہ مورتیوں کی اصلیت اور حقیقت تو بیان کرو جن کے تم مجاور بنے بیٹھے ہو اور جن کے گیان دھیان میں لگے رہتے ہو !
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
