And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so perhaps his people would be ˹rightly˺ guided.

يعني التوراة ; وخص موسى بالذكر لأن التوراة أنزلت عليه في الطور , وهارون خليفة في قومه .ولو قال " ولقد آتيناهما " جاز ; كما قال : " ولقد آتينا موسى وهارون الفرقان " [ الأنبياء : 48 ] .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
