قوله تعالى : وإنك لتدعوهم إلى صراط مستقيم[ ص: 132 ] قوله تعالى : وإنك لتدعوهم إلى صراط مستقيم أي إلى دين قويم . والصراط في اللغة الطريق ؛ فسمي الدين طريقا لأنه يؤدي إلى الجنة فهو طريق إليها .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
