or a treasure had been cast down to him, or he had had a garden from which he may eat!” And the wrongdoers say ˹to the believers˺, “You are only following a bewitched man.”

{ أَوْ يُلْقَى إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ } أي: مال مجموع من غير تعب، { أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا } فيستغني بذلك عن مشيه في الأسواق لطلب الرزق.{ وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ } حملهم على القول ظلمهم لا اشتباه منهم، { إِنْ تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَسْحُورًا } هذا وقد علموا كمال عقله وحسن حديثه، وسلامته من جميع المطاعن.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
