( إن في ذلك لآية إلى آخره تقدم . ويقال : إنه ما آمن به من تلك الأمم إلا ألفان وثمانمائة رجل وامرأة . وقيل : كانوا أربعة آلاف . وقال كعب : كان قوم صالح اثني عشر ألف قبيل كل قبيل نحو اثني عشر ألفا من سوى النساء والذرية ، ولقد كان قوم عاد مثلهم ست مرات .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
