So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers.

قوله تعالى : ففررت منكم لما خفتكم أي خرجت من بينكم إلى مدين كما في سورة ( القصص ) : فخرج منها خائفا يترقب وذلك حين القتل . فوهب لي ربي حكما يعني النبوة ; عن السدي وغيره . الزجاج : تعليم التوراة التي فيها حكم الله . وقيل : علما وفهما . وجعلني من المرسلين .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
