and to recite the Quran.” Then whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. But whoever chooses to stray, say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a warner.”

وأن أتلو القرآن أي وأمرت أن أتلو القرآن ، أي أقرأه قال النحاس : وأن أتلو نصب ب ( أن ) قال الفراء : وفي إحدى القراءتين ( وأن اتل ) وزعم أنه في موضع جزم بالأمر فلذلك حذف منه الواو ، قال النحاس : ولا نعرف أحدا قرأ هذه القراءة ، وهي مخالفة لجميع المصاحف .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
