And there came a man, rushing from the farthest end of the city. He said, “O Moses! The chiefs are actually conspiring against you to put you to death, so leave ˹the city˺. I really advise you ˹to do so˺.”

وقيض اللّه ذلك الرجل الناصح، وبادرهم إلى الإخبار لموسى بما اجتمع عليه رَأْيُ ملئهم. فقال:{ وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَى } أي: ركضا على قدميه من نصحه لموسى، وخوفه أن يوقعوا به، قبل أن يشعر، فـ { قَالَ يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ الْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُون } أي: يتشاورون فيك { لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَاخْرُجْ } عن المدينة { إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ } فامتثل نصحه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
