وقوله : ( واستكبر هو وجنوده في الأرض بغير الحق وظنوا أنهم إلينا لا يرجعون ) أي : طغوا وتجبروا ، وأكثروا في الأرض الفساد ، واعتقدوا أنه لا معاد ولا قيامة ، ( فصب عليهم ربك سوط عذاب . إن ربك لبالمرصاد )[ الفجر : 13 ، 14 ] ،
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
