When Our messenger-angels came to Abraham with the good news ˹of the birth of Isaac˺, they said, “We are going to destroy the people of this city ˹of Sodom˺, for its people have persisted in wrongdoing.”

[ وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَى ] وە كاتێك مەلائیكەت و نێردراوەكانی ئێمە چوون بۆ لە ناوبردنى قەومى لوط صلى الله علیه وسلم ، لای ئیبراهیم صلى الله علیه وسلم لایاندا لەسەر شێوەى مرۆڤ وە موژدەی كوڕیان پێدا كە كوڕێكت ئەبێ لە سارە (وەكو لەسورەتى هودو حیجر باسكرا) [ قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُو أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ] وە بە ئیبراهیمیان صلى الله علیه وسلم وتیان: ئێمە خەڵكی ئەم دێیەی قەومی لوط صلى الله علیه وسلم لەناو ئەبەین [ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ (٣١) ] بەدڵنیایی خەڵكی ئەم دێیە خەڵكێكی زۆر هاوبەشبڕیاردەرو ستەمكارن .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
