And when Our messenger-angels came to Lot, he was distressed and worried by their arrival.1 They reassured ˹him˺, “Do not fear, nor grieve. We will surely deliver you and your family—except your wife, who is one of the doomed.

ثم مضوا حتى أتوا لوطا، فساءه مجيئهم، وضاق بهم ذرعا، بحيث إنه لم يعرفهم، وظن أنهم من جملة أبناء السبيل الضيوف، فخاف عليهم من قومه، فقالوا له:{ لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ } وأخبروه أنهم رسل اللّه. { إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ)
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
