They say, “If only ˹some˺ signs had been sent down to him from his Lord!” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Signs are only with Allah. And I am only sent with a clear warning.”

آیت 50 وَقَالُوْا لَوْلَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَیْہِ اٰیٰتٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّہٖ ط ”مشرکین مکہ آئے دن یہ مطالبہ دہراتے رہتے تھے کہ اگر آپ ﷺ نبی ہیں تو آپ ﷺ کو معجزات کیوں نہیں دیے گئے ؟ یہی وجہ ہے کہ قرآن میں بھی ان کا یہ مطالبہ تکرار کے ساتھ بیان ہوا ہے۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
