And who does more wrong than those who fabricate lies against Allah or reject the truth after it has reached them? Is Hell not a ˹fitting˺ home for the disbelievers?

قوله تعالى : ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أي لا أحد أظلم ممن جعل مع الله شريكا وولدا وإذا فعل فاحشة قال : وجدنا عليها آباءنا والله أمرنا بها . أو كذب بالحق لما جاءه قال يحيى بن سلام : بالقرآن . وقال السدي : بالتوحيد وقال ابن شجرة : بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم . وكل قول يتناول القولين أليس في جهنم مثوى للكافرين أي مستقر . وهو استفهام تقرير .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
