واذا قيل لهم لا تفسدوا في الارض قالوا انما نحن مصلحون ١١
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ ١١

فإن قيل: ما وجه تشبيه المنافقين بصاحب النار التي أضاءت ثم أظلمت؟ فالجواب من ثلاثة أوجه: أحدها: أن منفعتهم في الدنيا بدعوى الإيمان شبيه بالنور، وعذابهم في الآخرة شبيه بالظلمة بعده، والثاني: أن استخفاء كفرهم كالنور، وفضيحتهم كالظلمة، والثالث: أنّ ذلك فيمن آمن منهم ثم كفر، فإيمانه نور، وكفره بعده ظلمة، ويرجح هذا قوله: (ذلك بأنهم آمنوا ثم كفروا). ابن جزي: 1/54.
