قال رب فانظرني الى يوم يبعثون ٧٩
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ ٧٩
قَالَ
رَبِّ
فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ
إِلَىٰ
يَوۡمِ
يُبۡعَثُونَ
٧٩
Satan appealed, “My Lord! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”

Al-Tafsir al-Wasit (Tantawi)
( قَالَ رَبِّ فأنظرني ) أى : أمهلنى ( إلى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ ) أى : فأخرنى ولا تمتنى إلى يوم البعث ، لأتمكن من إغواء ذرية آدم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
