This is ˹the reward˺ for what your hands have done. And Allah is never unjust to ˹His˺ creation.”

قوله تعالى : ذلك بما قدمت أيديكم أي ذلك العذاب بما سلف من الذنوب . وخص الأيدي بالذكر ليدل على تولي الفعل ومباشرته ; إذ قد يضاف الفعل إلى الإنسان بمعنى أنه أمر به ; كقوله : يذبح أبناءهم وأصل " أيديكم " أيديكم فحذفت الضمة لثقلها ، والله أعلم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
