O my people! This worldly life is only ˹a fleeting˺ enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the home of settlement.

قوله تعالى : ياقوم إنما هذه الحياة الدنيا متاع أي يتمتع بها قليلا ثم تنقطع وتزول . وإن الآخرة هي دار القرار أي الاستقرار والخلود . ومراده بالدار الآخرة الجنة والنار لأنهما لا يفنيان . بين ذلك بقوله :
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
