O my people! This worldly life is only ˹a fleeting˺ enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the home of settlement.

( ياقوم إِنَّمَا هذه الحياة الدنيا مَتَاعٌ . . . ) أى : هذه الدنيا متاع زائل مهما طالت أيامه . .( وَإِنَّ الآخرة ) وحدها ( هِيَ دَارُ القرار ) أى : هى الدار التى فيها البقاء والدوام والخلود .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
