And among His signs is that you see the earth devoid of life, but as soon as We send down rain upon it, it begins to stir ˹to life˺ and swell. Indeed, the One Who revives it can easily revive the dead. He is certainly Most Capable of everything.

{ وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ } الدالة على كمال قدرته، وانفراده بالملك والتدبير والوحدانية، { أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً } أي: لا نبات فيها { فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ } أي: المطر { اهْتَزَّتْ } أي: تحركت بالنبات { وَرَبَتْ } ثم: أنبتت من كل زوج بهيج، فيحيي به العباد والبلاد.{ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا } بعد موتها وهمودها، { لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى } من قبورهم إلى يوم بعثهم، ونشورهم { إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ } فكما لم تعجز قدرته عن إحياء الأرض بعد موتها، لا تعجز عن إحياء الموتى.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
