ولذا عقب الله - تعالى - على تضرعهم هذا بقوله : ( أنى لَهُمُ الذكرى . . ) أى : كيف يتأتى لهم التذكر والاعتبار والاتعاظ . .والحال أنهم ( وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ ) هو محمد - صلى الله عليه وسلم - ، الى لم يترك بابا من أبواب الخير إلا وأرشدهم إليه ، ولم يترك وسيلة من وسائل الهداية إلا وسلكها معهم . .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
