There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. He ˹alone˺ gives life and causes death. ˹He is˺ your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers.

( لاَ إله إِلاَّ هُوَ ) - سبحانه - ( يُحْيِي ) من يريد إحياءه ، ( وَيُمِيتُ ) من يريد إماتته ، هو - تعالى - ( رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَآئِكُمُ الأولين ) .أى : هو - سبحانه - الذى تعهدكم بالرعاية والتربية والخلق ، كما فعل ذلك مع آبائكم الأولين ، الذين أنتم من نسلهم . .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
