And on the Day the disbelievers will be exposed to the Fire, ˹they will be asked,˺ “Is this ˹Hereafter˺ not the truth?” They will cry, “Absolutely, by our Lord!” It will be said, “Then taste the punishment for your disbelief.”

يخبر تعالى عن حال الكفار الفظيعة عند عرضهم على النار التي كانوا يكذبون بها وأنهم يوبخون ويقال لهم:{ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ } فقد حضرتموه وشاهدتموه عيانا؟ { قَالُوا بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا } فاعترفوا بذنبهم وتبين كذبهم { قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ } أي: عذابا لازما دائما كما كان كفركم صفة لازمة.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
