These are the ones who Allah has condemned, deafening them and blinding their eyes.

( أولئك الذين لَعَنَهُمُ الله )أى : طردهم من رحمته ( فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وأعمى أَبْصَارَهُمْ ) بأن جعلهم بسبب إعراضهم عن الحق - كالصم الذين لا يسمعون ، وكالعمى الذين لا يبصرون ، لأنهم حين عطلوا أسماعهم وأبصارهم عن التدبر والتفكر صاروا بمنزلة الفاقدين لتلك الحواس .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
