( قَالَ ) أى : - الخالق - عز وجل ( لاَ تَخْتَصِمُواْ لَدَيَّ ) أى : لا تتنازعوا عندى فى هذا الموقف ، فإن التنازع لا فائدة فيه .( وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بالوعيد ) أى : والحال أنى قد حذرتكم على ألسنة رسلى من سوء عاقبة الكفر ، والآن لا مجال لهذا الاعتذار أو التخاصم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
