ولقد راودوه عن ضيفه فطمسنا اعينهم فذوقوا عذابي ونذر ٣٧
وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ ٣٧
وَلَقَدۡ
رَٰوَدُوهُ
عَن
ضَيۡفِهِۦ
فَطَمَسۡنَآ
أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ
فَذُوقُواْ
عَذَابِي
وَنُذُرِ
٣٧
And they even demanded his angel-guests from him,

so We blinded their eyes. ˹And they were told,˺ “Taste then My punishment and warnings!”

ولقد طلبوا منه أن يفعلوا الفاحشة بضيوفه من الملائكة، فطمسنا أعينهم فلم يُبصروا شيئًا،
فقيل لهم:
ذوقوا عذابي وإنذاري الذي أنذركم به لوط عليه السلام.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
