˹But˺ they rejected all of Our signs, so We seized them with the ˹crushing˺ grip of the Almighty, Most Powerful.

كذبوا بآياتنا معجزاتنا الدالة على توحيدنا ونبوة أنبيائنا ; وهي العصا ، واليد ، والسنون ، والطمسة ، والطوفان ، والجراد ، والقمل ، والضفادع ، والدم . وقيل : النذر : الرسل ; فقد جاءهم يوسف وبنوه إلى أن جاءهم موسى . وقيل : النذر الإنذار .فأخذناهم أخذ عزيز أي غالب في انتقامه مقتدر أي قادر على ما أراد .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
