فطاف عليها طايف من ربك وهم نايمون ١٩
فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَآئِفٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ ١٩
فَطَافَ
عَلَيۡهَا
طَآئِفٞ
مِّن
رَّبِّكَ
وَهُمۡ
نَآئِمُونَ
١٩
Then it was struck by a torment from your Lord while they slept,

{ فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ }
أي: عذاب نزل عليها ليلًا
{ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ }
فأبادها وأتلفها
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
