They have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them, so they will soon face the consequences of their ridicule.

لقد جحد هؤلاء الكفار الحقَّ الذي جاءهم به محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وسخروا من دعاته; جهلا منهم بالله واغترارًا بإمهاله إياهم، فسوف يرون ما استهزءوا به أنه الحق والصدق، ويبين الله للمكذبين كذبهم وافتراءهم، وسيجازيهم عليه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
