ثم بين - سبحانه - علامات هذا اليوم فقال : ( فَإِذَا النجوم طُمِسَتْ ) أى : محقت وذهب ضوؤها ، وزال نورها . يقال : طمست الشئ ، من باب ضرب - إذا محوته واستأصلت أثره ،
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
