Those who worshipped the calf will certainly be afflicted with wrath from their Lord as well as disgrace in the life of this world. This is how We reward those who invent falsehood.

إن الذين اتخذوا العجل إلهًا سينالهم غضب شديد مِن ربهم وهوان في الحياة الدنيا; بسبب كفرهم بربهم، وكما فعلنا بهؤلاء نفعل بالمفترين المبتدعين في دين الله، فكل صاحب بدعة ذليل.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
