أي: ينادي أصحاب النار أصحاب الجنة، حين يبلغ منهم العذاب كل مبلغ، وحين يمسهم الجوع المفرط والظمأ الموجع، يستغيثون بهم، فيقولون:{ أَفِيضُوا عَلَيْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ } من الطعام، فأجابهم أهل الجنة بقولهم:{ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا } أي: ماء الجنة وطعامها { عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ }
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
