The disbelieving chiefs of his people responded, “We surely see you as a fool, and we certainly think you are a liar.”

You are reading a tafsir for the group of verses 7:66 to 7:67
آیت 66 قَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِہٖٓ اِنَّا لَنَرٰٹکَ فِیْ سَفَاہَۃٍ وَّاِنَّا لَنَظُنُّکَ مِنَ الْکٰذِبِیْنَ یعنی تم جھوٹا دعویٰ کر رہے ہو ‘ تم پر کوئی وحی وغیرہ نہیں آتی۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
