أي حضور : يعني الكفار , كانوا يعرضون الكفر على المؤمنين , فمن أبى ألقوه في النار وفي ذلك وصفهم بالقسوة ثم بالجد في ذلك : وقيل : " على " بمعنى مع , أي وهم : مع ما يفعلون بالمؤمنين شهود .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
