They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the spoils of war. Say, “Their distribution is decided by Allah and His Messenger. So be mindful of Allah, settle your affairs, and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are ˹true˺ believers.”

يسألك أصحابك -أيها النبي- عن الغنائم يوم «بدر» كيف تقسمها بينهم؟ قل لهم: إنَّ أمرها إلى الله ورسوله، فالرسول يتولى قسمتها بأمر ربه، فاتقوا عقاب الله ولا تُقَدموا على معصيته، واتركوا المنازعة والمخاصمة بسبب هذه الأموال، وأصلحوا الحال بينكم، والتزموا طاعة الله ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين; فإن الإيمان يدعو إلى طاعة الله ورسوله.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
