ثم وصف - سبحانه - الخائضين فى حديث الإفك بالكذب لأنهم قالوا قولا بدون دليل ، فقال : ( لَّوْلاَ جَآءُوا عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ ) أى : وما داموا لم يأتوا بهم - ولن يأتوا بهم - ( فأولئك عِندَ الله ) أى : فى حكمه - سبحانه - وفى شريعته ( هُمُ الكاذبون ) كذبا قبيحا تشمئز منه النفوس ، ويسجل عليهم الخزى والعار إلى يوم القيامة .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
