Al pueblo de Noé, cuando desmintieron a los Profetas[1], los ahogué e hice de ellos un Signo para la gente. Tengo reservado para los injustos un castigo doloroso. 1

وقوم نوح لما كذبوا الرسل ) أي : الرسول ، ومن كذب رسولا واحدا فقد كذب جميع الرسل ، فلذلك ذكر بلفظ الجمع . ( أغرقناهم وجعلناهم للناس آية ) يعني : لمن بعدهم عبرة ، ( وأعتدنا للظالمين ) في الآخرة ، ) ( عذابا أليما ) سوى ما حل به من عاجل العذاب .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
