Pero quienes fueron agraciados con el conocimiento dijeron: “¡Ay de ustedes! La recompensa de Dios para quien crea y haga obras de bien es superior, pero no la consiguen sino los que son pacientes”.

قوله تعالى : وقال الذين أوتوا العلم ويلكم وهم أحبار بني إسرائيل قالوا للذين تمنوا مكانه ويلكم ثواب الله خير يعني الجنة . لمن آمن وعمل صالحا ولا يلقاها إلا الصابرون أي لا يؤتى الأعمال الصالحة أو لا يؤتى الجنة في الآخرة إلا الصابرون على طاعة الله وجاز ضميرها لأنها المعنية بقوله : ثواب الله .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
