[Recuerda] a Qarún, al Faraón y a Hamán. Moisés se presentó ante ellos con las evidencias, pero actuaron con arrogancia en la tierra [de Egipto y se negaron a creer]. Sin embargo, no pudieron escapar de Mi [castigo].

قوله تعالى : وقارون وفرعون وهامان قال الكسائي : إن شئت كان محمولا على عاد وكان فيه ما فيه ، وإن شئت كان على فصدهم عن السبيل وصد قارون وفرعون وهامان . وقيل : أي : وأهلكنا هؤلاء بعد أن جاءتهم الرسل فاستكبروا في الأرض عن الحق وعن عبادة الله وما كانوا سابقين أي فائتين . وقيل : سابقين في الكفر بل قد سبقهم للكفر قرون كثيرة فأهلكناهم
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
