قوله تعالى : وعد الله لا يخلف الله وعده ؛ لأن كلامه صدق . . ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون وهم الكفار وهم أكثر . وقيل المراد : مشركو مكة . وانتصب وعد الله على المصدر ; أي وعد ذلك وعدا .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
