أولئك الذين هذه صفتهم وجب عليهم عذاب الله، وحلَّت بهم عقوبته وسخطه في جملة أمم مضت مِن قبلهم مِنَ الجن والإنس على الكفر والتكذيب، إنهم كانوا خاسرين ببيعهم الهدى بالضلال، والنعيم بالعذاب.
