أي : وكان الأولى بهم أن يسمعوا ويطيعوا ، أي : في الحالة الراهنة ، ( فإذا عزم الأمر ) أي : جد الحال ، وحضر القتال ، ( فلو صدقوا الله ) أي : أخلصوا له النية ، ( لكان خيرا لهم )
