Para que respetaran el pacto [de seguir la Torá] elevé la montaña por encima de ellos y les dije: “Ingresen por la puerta [principal de la ciudad], prostérnenrse [en señal de humildad] y no quebranten el sábado”. Celebré con ellos un pacto solemne.

آیت 154 وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَہُمُ الطُّوْرَ بِمِیْثَاقِہِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَہُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا یعنی جب اریحا Jericho شہر تمہارے ہاتھوں فتح ہوجائے اور اس میں داخل ہونے کا مرحلہ آئے تو اپنے سروں کو جھکا کر عاجزی کے ساتھ داخل ہونا۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
