Ellos dicen: “¿Por qué no hizo descender un ángel junto a él?” Pero si hubiese enviado un ángel el asunto habría quedado decidido[1], y no se les habría dado ningún plazo de espera [para creer]. 1

وقال هؤلاء المشركون: هلا أنزل الله تعالى على محمد مَلَكًا من السماء; ليصدقه فيما جاء به من النبوة، ولو أنزلنا مَلَكًّا من السماء إجابة لطلبهم لقضي الأمر بإهلاكهم، ثم لا يمهلون لتوبة، فقد سبق في علم الله أنهم لا يؤمنون.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
