Alors Nous Nous sommes vengés d’eux; Nous les avons noyés dans les flots, parce qu’ils traitaient de mensonges Nos signes et n’y prêtaient aucune attention.

فانتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم في اليم بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلين واليم البحر . وكانوا عنها أي النقمة . دل عليها فانتقمنا وقيل : عن الآيات أي لم يعتبروا بها حتى صاروا كالغافلين عنها .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
